Terms of Service

These terms cover gathme.com and the GathMe iPhone app while it is in pre-release. The service is offered by GathMe LLC. By requesting TestFlight or using the app, you agree to these terms and to the Community Guidelines.

What GathMe is

GathMe helps adults find a few other people for a real-world, platonic plan at a public place. GathMe is not a dating service, not an emergency service, and not affiliated with any university.

TestFlight

A TestFlight invite is a pre-release spot, not a promise of a public App Store release or of a particular date. Spots are limited. We can pause invites, end a build, or close the pre-release. The app can change, break, or lose data while it is in test. Apple’s TestFlight terms also apply to the install.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. You need an iPhone for the app. Use your own email, phone number, and name. One person, one account.

Plans and meetups

You are responsible for the plans you host and the plans you join. Meet at the public place the plan names. GathMe does not supervise meetups, employ the people in a plan, or guarantee that a plan will happen or that people will attend. If you cannot go, leave the plan before it starts.

If you are in danger, call 911. GathMe cannot send help.

Your conduct

Follow the Community Guidelines. We can remove a plan, restrict an account, or end access when a plan or a person breaks them. You can appeal in the app, or by emailing support@gathme.com.

The service as it stands

The pre-release is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, GathMe LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what people do when they meet. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes and contact

We will update these terms as the app approaches a public release, and the date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. Questions: support@gathme.com.
